A Guide to Luton
Luton is great for indulging in some retail therapy and is full of independent restaurants and bars if you prefer somewhere less busy than the capital. There's plenty to do in Luton and its surrounding areas, from The Mall shopping centre to The Hat Factory.
With excellent connections to central London and Luton airport, our student accommodation in Luton is conveniently located right in the middle of The University of Bedfordshire campus.

Stockwood Discovery Centre
The Stockwood Discovery Centre is the perfect place to visit if you want to learn more about Luton's history, boasting a thrilling programme of exhibitions, an award-winning carriage display, and breath-taking walled gardens.
The museum galleries bring the stories of local people to life, dating from prehistoric times to the present day. If you fancy a bit to eat, the on-site café serves up homegrown food using fruit and veg from their garden.

Whipsnade Zoo
Owned by the Zoological Society, a charity devoted to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats, Whipsnade Zoo and safari park is a great day out for any animal lover.
Home to Lions, Tigers, Elephants and even Red Pandas, the zoo offers daily 'meet the animals' experiences giving you the chance to get up close to some of their most popular animals.
The Bear Club
If you’re a jazz, blues or alternative music fan, check out The Bear Club, located in Luton Town Centre.
With weekly gigs from Thursday through Sunday, The Bear Club is the perfect place to visit if you want to listen to some live music and is just a quick 5-minute walk from Fitzroy and Wenlock Courts.
The Hat Factory
Enjoy Luton's thriving arts scene by taking a trip to the Hat Factory. Located a short 9-minute walk from Fitzroy and Wenlock Courts, you can experience live music, contemporary dance, theatre, films and workshops all in one place!
