Tell us which Campus Living Villages location you would like to stay at this summer and why, for a chance to win a 4-day stu-cation break for you and a friend, including expenses worth up to £1000.

  1. This competition is open to existing customers holding a 2021/22 tenancy at a Campus Living Villages property (see clause 8 below).
  1. The competition opens on 16th June 2022 (“Competition Start Date”) at 0.01hrs and closes on 24th June 2022 at 11.59pm, or when Campus Living Villages confirms the competition has closed (whichever is earlier) (“Competition End Date”).
  2. To be eligible, customers must go to Campus Living Villages’ Instagram page andnd comment on the stu-cation post, tag one friend and must be following @campuslivingvillagesuk. After the closing date, one entrant will be selected at random as the winner.
  3. Entrants are permitted to tag a friend who is not a Campus Living Villages’ customer. 
  4. The prize draw is limited to one entry per customer.
  5. The winner of the competition will win a three-night accommodation stay at a participating Campus Living Villages location of their choice for them and one friend, as well as expenses worth up to £1000 to share between them and their friend.
  6. The friend is not required to be a Campus Living Villages customer. 
  7. The participating villages that the winner is able to choose from include: Arena Village, Burley Road (Leeds); Newport Student Village (Newport); Rusholme Place (Manchester); John Lester & Eddie Colman Courts, Peel Park Quarter (Salford); Raymont Hall, Surrey House, Prince Consort Village, McMillan Student Village (London); Chesil House, Lyme Regis House, Cranborne House; Albert Court (Liverpool); Bonington Student Village (Sutton Bonington). Campus Living Villages reserves the right to remove any of the participated villages before the 27 June, depending on availability. 
  8. The £1000 expenses awarded to the winner will include:
    1. Standard class, off-peak return train fares for both winner and friend. Fares will be booked by Campus Living Villages.
    2. £200 restaurant gift card to share between winner and friend.
    3. Remaining value on a pre-loaded cash card to be shared between winner and friend.
  1. The overnight stay must be completed by 31 August 2022.
  2. The winner must notify Campus Living Villages of the village and dates they wish to stay at, no later than 30 June and once chosen,
  3. Bookings for the overnight stay is subject to availability and an alternative date or venue may be offered.
  4. Accommodation bookings will be confirmed to the winner by email to the address held on their account no later than 72 hours prior to the check in date.
  5. Check in will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and the room must be fully checked out by 10am on the checkout day.
  6. The winner will be required to sign a short stay agreement in their resident portal once the booking has been created.
  7. Cashcard and restaurant vouchers will be shared with the winner no later than one week before the date of the stay.
  8. This offer is available to existing customers, however, existing customers who are in arrears or who are otherwise in breach of their 2021/2022 tenancy or licence agreements are not eligible to participate in the competition and will be deemed disqualified from the competition.
  9. The winner of the competition will be drawn at random by Campus Living Villages, and the winner will be notified as soon as possible by Campus Living Villages using the email details provided with their booking.
  10. Any queries about this competition can be submitted by contacting the Campus Living Villages Customer Contact Village on +44 (0)161 850 6664, by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk, or by going to a Campus Living Villages reception and enquiring with staff.
  11. Campus Living Villages reserves the right to apply charges to the current residing customer’s account to compensate for any damages caused to the property of which the customer chooses to stay at as part of their prize.
  12. Campus Living Villages reserves the right to end, extend or amend this promotion at any time. Campus Living Villages also reserves the right to limit this promotion at any stage.
  13. Campus Living Villages must either publish or make available information that a valid prize draw has taken place. To comply with this obligation, Campus Living Villages will publish the surname of the winner on the Campus Living Villages’ website on or before 27 June 2022. If you object to your surname or county being published, please contact Campus Living Villages at the address provided at the bottom of these terms and conditions. In such circumstances, Campus Living Villages must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  14. Insofar as is permitted by law, Campus Living Villages, its agents or associated companies or any of their respective employees will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Campus Living Villages, its agents or associated companies or that of their respective employees.
  15. Campus Living Villages will only process personal information of any winner as set out in Campus Living Villages’ Privacy Policy. See also paragraph 15 above regarding the announcement of the winner.
  16. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Existing customers with a 2021/22 booking can extend their booking by up to eight weeks between 1 July – 3 September 2022.

  1. Applicable to residents with a booking at any Campus Living Villages (“CLV”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) property, except Durham, St Andrews and Arena Village.
  2. The service is available to students whose contract is with CLV directly where their current booking ends before 3rd September 2022.
  3. Booking extensions are subject to availability.

    5. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Campus Living Villages and its agents will only use personal information supplied by entrants to this competition for the purposes of administering this competition and will only process personal information of any participant in the offer as set out in Campus Living Villages’ Privacy Policy. Entrants to the competition will be required to provide their full name and email address. Entrants should be aware that their name may be shared on Campus Living Villages social platforms. If an entrant does not consent to their name to be shared on Campus Living Villages social platforms, they must confirm this by telephone on +44 (0)161 850 6664 or email at contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk.

New and existing customers can book a short-term stay at another Campus Living Village from 1 July – 31 August 2022.

  1. Applicable to residents with a booking at any Campus Living Villages (“CLV”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) property, except Durham, St Andrews and Arena Village.
  2. The service is available to students whose contract is with CLV directly as well as new customers who do not hold a contract with CLV.
  3. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel within seven days of signing your agreement online. You have the right to the return of your deposit and any rental amounts paid in relation to your booking.

You will lose your right to cancellation as soon as you collect the keys from the reception team even if this is within seven days of signing your agreement.

First year students and first-time residents

If you are a first year student or you are residing in the Building for the first time, you may request to cancel and have any deposit and rental amounts which relate to your booking returned to you if:

  • You do not receive an unconditional offer from your University. You may request to cancel up to seven days following the release of A Level Results by providing your cancellation request in writing along with supporting evidence that the required results have not been achieved for you to take up your course.
  • You require a visa to study in the UK, but your visa application has been rejected. You may request to cancel up to seven days after rejection of your visa application and no later than seven days following the release of A-Level results by providing your cancelation request in writing along with supporting evidence that your Visa application has not been successful.

Ongoing students and returning residents

If you are an ongoing student or returning resident of the building, you may request to cancel and have any deposit and rental amounts which relate to your booking returned to you if:

  • You are notified by your university that your course will be taught 100% online for the next academic year. You may request to cancel up to the 31 March in the year of your next contract starting in September.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking and resell your room if you fail to collect your key within 14 calendar days of the booking start date. You remain liable for all amounts due under the agreement until the room is sold and for any lost rental amounts between bookings which we may deduct from any deposit we hold.

If the first rent instalment is due prior to the booking start date and it is not received as cleared funds within seven days of the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and resell the room. You remain liable for all amounts due under the agreement until the room is sold and for any lost rental amounts between bookings which we may deduct from any deposit we hold.

If after the start date of your booking you would like to be released from the agreement and a replacement resident is found by you who we believe to be eligible in our absolute discretion, we will release you from the agreement, from the date the new agreement with the new resident takes effect. Your deposit will then be refunded and we will charge a fee amount equal to our costs of preparing your room for the new occupant. You will remain responsible for any rental arrears outstanding on the date the agreement ends.

If, after the commencement of your booking, you would like to be released from the agreement but you have not found a replacement resident (as described above) to take over the agreement then we reserve the right to retain the deposit and you will remain liable for the full rent and other charges detailed in your agreement until the booking ends.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk or sent directly to your village reception team.

These terms are for direct bookings only and some agreements may differ. The full terms and conditions of your booking can be found in your agreement, which you can access on the resident portal.​

If you are a first year undergraduate student and you don’t get your place at University, we will cancel your agreement and refund any deposit or rent paid. To qualify, please send a copy of your UCAS track or University correspondence within 7 calendar days from the date you’re A level results are published.

If you require a VISA to study in the UK and you don’t get your university offer or your VISA is rejected, we will cancel your agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. Please send us the visa application rejection or University CAS rejection within 7 days of receiving them.

New customers arriving from a country outside of the UK who book a room at Albert Court, Belgrave View, Fitzroy & Wenlock Courts, Rusholme Place, Burley Road, McMillan Student Village, Prince Consort Village, Newport Student Village, Bonington Student Village or John Lester & Eddie Colman Courts, Peel Park Quarter with Campus Living Villages (“CLV”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, be able to cancel their booking if their VISA is rejected.

  1. Applicable to students whose booking start date is in September 2022 only.
  2. If the student (“You”, “Your”) requires a VISA to study in the UK and you do not get your university offer to be able to apply for a VISA or your VISA is rejected, CLV will cancel your accommodation agreement, and refund any deposit and/or advance rent paid to us in full.
  3. You must send a visa application rejection letter to us before the 25th August 2022 for the cancellation to take place. Any requests after this date will not be eligible.
  4. The deadline specified in point 4 only applies to students who have a booking starting in September 2022. If you have a booking that starts at any other time, please refer to the policy in your agreement.
  5. We reserve the right to end, extend or amend this promotion at any time.
  6. We reserve the right to limit this promotion at any stage.
