
We annually report on progress towards the goals and targets in our 2030 Sustainability Strategy. We do this with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. Our annual Sustainability Reports are reviewed by our Executive Committee and Board and from FY24, our environmental performance data has undergone Limited Assurance.
CLV is committed to respecting and promoting human rights for everyone including our own employees, people employed in our supply chain, our student residents and stakeholders in our communities.
Whilst we are not required by law to report on our approach to Modern Slavery in all the regions in which we operate, in accordance with our values, we have completed a Human Rights Risk Assessment and we have processes in place to manage our salient human rights risks which includes the risk of modern slavery existing in our supply chain. We report this information to our Board Committee of Audit, Tax, Sustainability, Risk and Compliance. Our Human Rights Position Statement provides more information.
Our UK business is a reporting entity under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. We report annually on our approach to managing the risks and impacts of modern forms of slavery existing in our UK supply chain.

The relevant Industry division to CLV is ‘Rental, hiring and real estate services’, Industry class is 'Residential Property Operators' and Employer size is '<250'.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia. Our Reflect RAP is our first formal step in showing our commitment to reconciliation. We are pleased to have commenced our journey with Reconciliation Australia though this plan and are committed to strengthening ties and building relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
