CLV officially opens expanded Griffith University Village, delivering nearly 1,000 beds on the Gold Coast

CLV officially opens expanded Griffith University Village on the Gold Coast, delivering 460 new purpose-built student accommodation beds to help meet growing demand for high-quality on-campus living.

Developed in partnership with Griffith University, the new accommodation tower almost doubles the Village's capacity to approximately 1,000 beds, providing greater housing certainty for students while supporting the broader housing needs of the Gold Coast community. Additionally, CLV has spent close to $3m renovating and upgrading the existing village to ensure a cohesive village was created.

The expansion reflects CLV's ongoing commitment to creating welcoming, connected and supportive student communities that enhance the university experience and help students thrive academically, socially and personally.

The new tower offers a mix of studio, two-bedroom and accessible apartments, complemented by an extensive range of shared amenities. Residents will have access to a resort-style swimming pool, zen pool, gym and yoga studio, collaborative study spaces, cinema and recreation room, landscaped green spaces, a yarning circle, laundry facilities and communal cooking and dining areas.

John Schroder, Group Managing Director and CEO of Campus Living Villages, said the development builds on a successful partnership that has supported students for many years.

"Our long-standing partnership with Griffith University has supported thousands of students and we're proud to continue that legacy by providing high-quality, purpose-built accommodation that meets the needs of today's students and fosters a community built on belonging, wellbeing and connection."

For CLV, the project represents another milestone in delivering accommodation that goes beyond providing a place to live, creating environments where students can feel connected, supported and engaged throughout their university journey.

The expansion of Griffith University Village strengthens the longstanding collaboration between CLV and Griffith University and reinforces both organisations' shared commitment to enhancing the student experience through accessible, high-quality accommodation options.
