Let's show you around
Located in the heart of the Lansdowne Campus.
Our Lyme Regis student accommodation in Bournemouth is run in partnership with Bournemouth University and is located in the heart of the Lansdowne Campus.
There’s a bus stop directly outside our student accommodation taking you to Talbot Campus in an 15-minute bus journey. You’ll have access to the exclusive ResLifeBU events and wellbeing programme, only available in BU accommodation, which is designed to help you enjoy your time in student accommodation to the fullest.
Lyme Regis House had a £1.4 million refurbishment in the summer of 2019, meaning the rooms are fresh, current and inviting. We have modern en-suite or studio living options to choose from.
Convenient local shops are available, with an on-site Tesco Express supermarket and an ASDA that’s a five-minute walk away as well as other local amenities. Bournemouth town centre and train station are both within walking distance should you choose to venture a little bit further.
Booking your accommodation is easy using the Bournemouth University online accommodation portal. You can find more details to help you secure your BU accommodation here, and you can also read the booking FAQs if you get stuck for any reason.

Refurbished in 2019, Lyme Regis House is even better than ever. A short distance from the University, city centre, and beach, this Village gives more than a good location and modern design. Residents’ events, common areas, and proximity to hotspots are all given to improve the already strong sense of belonging in Lyme Regis. This is a place to start the next chapter of your life.
Don't just take it from us
Hear what other students from the Village have to say
I have loved the independence it has given me in the past year to learn how to do things by myself and make so many new friends in the building.
The receptionists and staff have been so kind and welcoming. There is always someone at reception so there is always someone to speak to if you need a hand with anything. We love you Kathy and Claire!
I was most nervous about having to do my own food shop and cooking every week, also about not getting on with flatmates but it has been fine.
I like the ease of access throughout the village and the various facilities available. The Village Team are always available to help and have helped with any concerns or questions I have asked.
