Are you joining us for Puppy Yoga? Located in the West Village Rec room (beside the office)

Before attending, please read our mandatory puppy safety rules:

These rules protect the puppies’ welfare and must be followed.
General Rules
• Arrive 10 minutes early (late arrivals may miss the safety briefing)
• Remain seated unless directed
• Do not pick up any animal without staff approval
• Always support chest and hind legs
• No loud noises, chasing, sudden movements, and avoid face contact
• Do not force animals onto their back, restrain them, or grab/snatch them suddenly
• No pulling by the tail, ears or feet
• If a puppy is squirming, uncomfortable, or trying to move away, gently place them down.
• No standing with an animal under any circumstance
• No feeding the animals or bringing food into the yoga room
• Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times
Hygiene + Biosecurity
• No shoes are permitted in the yoga room at any time
• Please arrive in clean, freshly changed clothing
• We strongly advise not participating in outdoor activities beforehand (parks, dog parks, farms, beaches, public spaces)
• Avoid direct contact with other animals before attending, including your own pets
• If you have pets at home, please change clothing and leave without touching them before the class, even if they are fully vaccinated
• All participants are required to wipe, wash or sanitise exposed skin before entering the class area. We will provide you with the supplies to do so.
If you have any skin conditions, sensitivities, or allergies that prevent you from using sanitising products, please notify us prior to the class. Entry may be refused if participants are unwilling to follow our sanitation procedures.
These precautions follow veterinary biosecurity recommendations to reduce the risk of introducing environmental pathogens into a space with young animals. Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the session without refund, as the safety and wellbeing of our animals must always come first.
The animals will naturally roam around the room and will come to you for pats, cuddles and kisses if they choose to do so. Please remember they are living beings who deserve autonomy too.
If a puppy shows signs of fatigue or stress, staff will remove them from the room to rest.

Come and get in the Halloween spirit with some Halloween cupcakes and crafts! Make your own jar jack-o-lantern or maybe paint a pumpkin, either way we hope you have a fantastic time!

Bring your roommates, bring your floormates, or come solo and meet someone new. All residents are welcome!
