Fire safety update
Following the tragic incident at Grenfell Tower in London and the attention surrounding the safety of student accommodation we wish to assure you that all of our buildings comply with building regulations, have up to date fire risk assessments and all have emergency systems installed that are suitable for the type of premises and occupants that reside in them. Our comprehensive Fire Safety Management protocols play a key role in providing a safe environment for every visitor, for the entirety of their stay.
The safety of our residents, staff and visitors is our highest priority and as such we have made the decision to sample every type of cladding material from the facades of our properties and submit for testing. This process has already begun with samples being sent to the Building Research Establishment (BRE), with more samples sent daily until we have covered our entire portfolio.
Independent testing will allow us to share the results with our university partners quickly and we will take any appropriate action should it be required.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at communications@clvuk.com.
